For those interested in hearing out the 2 presidencial candidates for America - John McCain and Barack Obama - with Pastor Dr. Rick Warren (Author of Best-seller "Purpose Driven Life") as the moderator. Both men were put through the same sets of questions and the answers that were given either tells how prepared they came with answers, or how sincere they are in answering the questions. Have a look.

If the link cant load, do go to GodTube.com to click on the most viewed this week. Personally, i like Obama better from the way he answers the questions. It has a more sincere air and a more well-thought, hot-from-the-oven kinda answer as compared to John McCain, who more than often talks about his POW stint and kinda makes use of this like a town-hall meeting. Well, but i'm not American, so...

Was watching the olympics women table tennis team event finals. Lol. Total trashing. And the english commentator, was totally being a joker. Haha.
Fast forward one day later and it was in the news after Singapore's defeat in the finals; "Singapore wins Silver". How ironic. Its the wont be the same if Phelps get the silver for one of his events. It would probably read, "Phelps losses the Gold", instead of "Phelps wins Silver".
Anyhow, good job Team Singapore for ending our Olympic Medal Drought.

'Peace' and 'Justice' are indeed a wierd couple. Most people would think that justice should be present before peace can be served. However, there are just some odd cases whereby there has to be peace before justice can even start to take root. Such senario, we should simply wait and let God. Right, God?
FOP was a blast. Its the 22nd one and this year's invited band consists of the Hillsongs Band with Reuben Morgan leading, and also the Parachute Band from New Zealand. Thought the message on the second night was particularly apt for me(got into Indoors without queueing up, thanks to cheat code - boss' supply of VIP tickets!). The title was "Growing Up, Growing Old" and the speaker was the humorous Rev. Mark Conner. He introduced the topic by stating that it is possible to grow old without growing up. At one point, he was using elaborating how to grow up(mature) by making every thought captive to Christ, and at the other point, he was showing us how we should be responsible for ourselves from the inside out. Using a hula-hoop to represent a realm without our own control, Rev. Mark demostrated that the only thing which can fully be in the hoop is ourselves. We cant even control our children and spouses(to-be), but by the renewing of ourselves and taking responsility of our action and physical body(giving the body a right leader), we can influence those around us.
Another lesson i learnt along the past weeks was ironically taught to me unintendedly by lowell during his lessons for the p6 class. In short, the gist of the lesson is, "the easiest way to not think about a pink elephant is, to not even think about not thinking of a pink elephant."
