Some nice uncle hooked this fish and let me reel this in. Its like HUGE! Very tiring playing with the fish. But, they told me this is only a medium sized one. haha.

I caught the red one!!! Its supposed to be quite an expensive fish in the market. haha.
These 3 fishes were stilll alive after the journey to my granny house and back home at abt 9.30pm. i put in some water to retain the freshness. They died promptly after i left home from chaos house, cause i brought them along for SUPPER, as in, the fishes were the supper. haha. tasted really fresh! Kudos to chaos' helper for helping us clean and cook the fish even though it was already 11pm when we reached. haha.

All in all, there were alot of technicalities which i learnt today. Anna was the only SFC person who went with me cause the others conveniently PS-ed me, but because of her, i got told off by the nice old uncle and my fren; cause i dint send her out of the fishing area when she left early. Aiyah, cannot blame me, i was too engrossed in fishing already. haha. Oh anyway, Anna caught 2 fishes that were realli big, at least 30 cm long. And, she braved one whole day of rain with me and chaoqun and chaoqun's dad. Basically, she was the only female there for one whole days. She gained qutie alot of respect from the old uncles there :( JEALOUS!

ah anyway, genting was cancelled cause non of the 5 gals were allowed to go in the end cause of the rain, so me chaos and joel went for a stayover marathon, each day characterised by staying up till at least 3. ok la, 2nd and third day tim joined us. DOTA was fun. HERO SEIGE WAS NOT. oh yar! we celebrated the short one's birthday by going down to her house, and we had a realli good time boiling some magic portion for tim, right joel? haha.

just feelike saying this again. FISHING TRIP WAS A BLAST!!!!!

today, as in friday, something funny happened. i saw these 3 guys at ang mo kia k-pool, they went into the wrong toilet. We knew it cause got this aunty, came out complaining. HAH! the funniest thing was that when she went it, she said got one guy washing face, one making hair, and another one pee-ing half way. i pitied the 3 guys man. They were inside for less than 2 mins, but she cam out complaining for at least 5 mins, and after that the whole whole knew, so much so that when we walked behind the 3 guys, got this old aunty came out of k-pool and pointed at them and laughed at them. HAHA!

This is the first time when i'm going overseas and there were like at least 15 telephone calls persuading me not to go. Maybe, maybe its a sign from the Divine.

at least my grandma gonna give me the cash to pay anna. haha. Thx God for good grandma, though this is realli the first time she stopped me from doing anything.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Went to the CHC play this christmas and it was rather funny, but the sermon was a real take-home. Its the second sermon i heard abt 'Peace' in abt a month, and there are alot of new revelations. It seems like peace of God is able to crush satan. Its like what "Impale" is to the character "Lion" in DOTA. Its the primary skill, used against enemy units, to stunn and to kill.

well, the fellowship was good as usual, with jem out of army for awhile, than there were the other 2 handsomes and pris and vonn. Prata-ed at casuarina(<--spell check), than came home.

Tml genting trip and my insurance-agent-aunty got wind of it and called to remind me to buy insurance. hmm. No wonder in the game "munchkins", insurance agent is the level 10 monster. haha. but my aunt is very nice la, just that she has the trait of the older generation, keeps asking the same qusetion. Somehow wished i had a tape recording, and somehow i think i typed this suggestion on my blog before.

DOTA-ed at night with joseph and aaron. My, Lion is such a fun hero to use to kill other heros. think i will train my Lion. calculated with Aaron, it could like deal a 4k damage if i do upgrades, but well, its very costly. Opportunity cost of manna and health items. I KLLED 6 HEROS! yahoo!

Levites christmas party yesterday. As expected- not enough food. Had to kope from my bro aaron's cell which also had alot of people but most of them were and are still gals; gals generally eat very little. Levites gals are like, messy, haha, but we still love em, right? yeah i think so, IF mandia and rachel stop playing "Ouch", and rachel(koh) and joanne shut their mouths. Cant believed that twice yesterday i got out-talked by them. Its like..... mmo-mo-mo-mo-MONSTER KILL!.. hahhaa

ty joined us for ministry for the first time today, and everyone's gving christmas presents except me, who was probably NOT the only one waiting to just recieve. Well, lowell for one dint do anything. Aunty Bac's cake was super-licious, partially cos it was coated with RUM, and the sneeky gals left me and lowell to clean up the mess. Wonderful. Next weeek is most likely gonna be class party for the kids, and also the last time we will be seeing rachel(ong) for first service.... THAT DEFLECTOR... on one hand, the cookies she baked were, yummi-licious. mmmMMmm

DOTA-ed with joseph jeshua aaron josh(sng) gid. My team, nearly won. Which meant that we lost. No prizes guessing who was the weakest link. ME!. haha. ok considered it be my 5th game, everyone was congratulating me on my dota progress. shall hamachi at home and show them next time that i can 1 vs 6, niehiehiehie

managed to squeeze some cash out of my aunt for my genting trip. Thx God for relieving me of the cash problem. Thx God for unmarried aunties.

mery christmas everyone who reads all these posts. haha.

i was just washing the sea shell i brought back from bintan and there was this resilient one which was still alive. after living 3 days in freshwater, the other 1 or 2 living shells were dead and decompasing, but this oyster was still alive, unwilling to even budge when i tried to pry it open. It finally met its ending when i put it over the stove and subsequently had to clear its carcass out of the shell. However, even through this episode, i feel a deep sense of respect for the animal for putting up such a brave fight for living. Would i, when i go army, when the whole world will seem to put down every effort by me to retain my christian values?

Realise, there must only be one answer to this question.

thursday, dint even had time to recover from my trip and, zoom!, i had to be in sku for a meeting. Yeah, bong nagged at me cos i promised to help but disappeared, haha!. i should have counted the number of 'sorrys" i said over the phone. (Jayce dyed her hair!)

Went out with pestophia later in the afternoon cos her fren asked her to a church play, and daniel asked me to his church play, and both her fren and daniel happened to be in the same church, so we met before going, and guess what my dear sfc frens! u all probably cant guess, SOPHIA WAS EARLY FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! no, your eyes are not playing tricks on you when you read this, and that u are not reading things wrongly, but yeah! SHE WAS NOT EVEN ON TIME BUT SHE WAS EARLY!!! like reeeeeaaaally early, abt 2o minutes early.

The play was realli good. i enjoyed it. Storyline was predictable but i realli like the professionalism and the way it was presented. Tim fang and Kim was there too, with Nat and his gf. The play was basically abt this puppet who wants to be free from the strings holding onto his life.

Dinnered with aaron and he payed for my meal and my lan gaming. good to have a brother who is relatively loaded compared to me.

today, lunch with my uncle, another free meal. Than, for the first few times, fulfill my role as a nephew by helping my uncle run errands(unless u count him spending and doting on me as fulfilling my role as nephew). Thereafter, went city with ty and found the Handax guitar which yimmy recommended(He's not gonna stay at trumphs afterall cos its a 99 year lease ): ). Churched and finally got another free BBQ dinner cos its the celebration of the p6s going on to secondary sku. Thx God for church. haha. And the fact that i am in this ministry means i can join them. haha.

Thank God for TaiYong for the Godly advice regarding relationships and the academic support at least in maths and prayers, in preparation for my A levels. I would not have been so without all your prayers.

thanks also for brothers and sisters in Christ whom got me back to children ministry. Tried to siam from it after A levels so that i can relax for awhile but, hey, guess i am back for good again, and it realli feels good. Dont think i will drop it in army, cos by far, its the only ministry that realli refrained me of the things of the world like vulgarities and lust, when i think that whatever i am will be transfered over to my kids in sunday sku.

YPM camp - UNITED
I really thank God for this camp. This theme is sth i think is much lacking in YPM even among the cell groups and within the cell groups itself, for one, its LEVI, that is, between the younger members like me, and the more lao jiao like the leaders aaron and melvyn. Even though the original cell members only got me, rachel, mandia, aaron and melvyn, and that both of the last 2 names have to keep running abt cos they are in camp com, i was rather thankful to be able to play a part in cell bonding, and that at the end of the camp, many of the other members have at least visited us. For this camp, i sorta played the glue, trying to hold whatever group we have, cos it realli consisted of alot of newer members. The challange therefore, was for me rachel and mandia, not to talk too much amongst the 3 of us but rather, involve the rest of the group.

on the whole, the camp was a relaxing and good experience. Camp food was good, schedule was not tight, company was cool. I hope YPM camps walk the cell group themes for some years at least.

now, why dint i thought of doing all these when i was still back at sku.... hmm.

tired. yesterday was a rush job. Churched, grand's-ed, sentosa-ed to visit the SU people, then to pasir ris for Mel's birthday chalet. Played a retardedly fun game until 5.30 am. Talked to Helu for the first time abt gangs and stuff. Really informative talk. oh ok, not to forget the many ambiguous couples around in church these few days... haha.

pork ribs BBQ-ed was NICEEEEE. Mash potatoes with bacon bits too.

PS: hey Tim1, paiseh for pangsehing. haha. I'm sure a nice guy like u wont hold it against me right? AHA.

Youth Camp in 2 day's time. Afterwhich is class trip and then SFC trip. up till now, i only managed to get sponsor for my expenses but not the trip itself. Thank God though.

One more thing. Yimmy is gonna stay in The Trumphs from feb onwards. Lots of going over to his place. yeah man. haha

Children's camp was superb. 5 days and 4 nights of recieving. OK, its not cos of any spiritual high, in fact i dont. Its just that i relearnt many things which i have forgotten, for example, the many spiritual principles and stuff. The campsite wasnt one which i was comfortable with, which in fact was the reason i was much more on my toes in the spiritual dimension. Guess i have became to comfortable.

Prom was ok i guess. Everyone was superbly dressed. And on cheak's comment on val, i spent 10 seconds of my life laughing; PRESENTING THE MIRACLE OF THE EVENING. the wonders of make up on Val.

ok anyway,it was fun hanging out with the sfc on monday after such a long time. Even though its jsut like 2hours, its worth the ten bucks and the long trip to and from diary farm road.

Thanksgiving was another rushing here and there. Becky was a great help cos she setted up or at least got the intercom going so i could have some serious fun with it. Just unloading my usual amount of egoistic and chauvanistic comments, but fun for everyone nevertheless. Luke, Moses(both), and Joshua, they were my pride man. I feel like a father, or either that, a super old elder brother. Their acting were flawless in my sight, just like the rest of the others who were dancing who were from my class. repeat repeat, i love em kids.

i wonder, what will life be like for me now it God were to tell me to get out of Children's ministry. I cannot do without these kids man. I've found out through this camp, that i realli did missed them when i took off from service to study for my A levels, and now, i am gonna miss them when i start to teach another class next year. Kids like Moses Ng and Joshua, at the beginning of the year, i had pinpointed them secretly as kids who i have to scold much much more often just to get to them that i am the one in authorithy, but in this year, my pereption of them realli changed alot. Moses was in my group during camp and my, he was looking after luke like luke was his younger brother, plus the unwavering obedience to whatever i've said.

Joshua, i dunno what happened to him, but he became super helpful, volunteering to clean the toilet and the tables after every meal. Plus, he has a realli sweet tongue now, telling me how cool "Gor Gor Caleb" was when i put on my blazer for prom night, even though i know with my AA glasses i probably looked like some ah peh. The kids must have realli missed me badly. With NS looming ard the corner, i hope i can get back to church more sundays than they could passibly retain me.

oh another thing, i realised, one can either only hate my glasses or love it.the reactions and the comments i got for it were equally on the extremes. hah. but, i love em. heh.

hazelnut coffee and the instant teh tarik was superb thanks to aunty cindy. Through em, God kept me from being a bad example to the kids cos i was realli tired during all the sermons, from the running around and being toileting manager, brining them to and fro.

Fishing trip is cancelled cos chaoqun's dad could not make it, so i had to disappoint anna, who so wanted to fish, unlike the rest of the people in my cca. I SHANT NAME NAMES. haha. but i just realised monday is anna's birthday, so maybe God did planned for the fishing trip to be cancelled. nvm, now i am bonding more with my cell and i should realli thank God. Tml is Mel's 21st birthday and i am invited, duh, cos its like a cell group thingie. Wonderful thing is that its also the last night of SU camp and i badly want to go. I HOPE WENDY TAN ZHAO RONG DONT PANGSEH ME. desmond gor gor and sharon too.

these few days in children's camp, i think national geographics was playing this programmes abt lions. i've seen sumthing like that before. The older alpha male always gets chased away by the new alpha male who seems to want to take over the pride, but sometimes the cubs get into the way to stop the lion and the lioness from building trust. Thats when the lion gets fed up and went to sit with a group of male hyenas which was laughing away(yeah they call the wierd hyena sounds "laughing"), but very occasionally the lion will turn his face back towards teh pride to check for the sign of a competing male lion. and the like-o-meter points to 40... ha ha ha... .... ... ...

aaron got dad to buy him a laptop. Now, there is 3 computers at home, so, tell me a reason why i should not pick up DOTA... mmm.
